2027: PDP DARES TINUBU, SAYS NOBODY CAN MANIPULATE NIGERIANS 01-04-25
By Sadiq Aminu A group of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stakeholders has vowed that nobody can manipulate Nigerians into voting for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 presidential poll.
The stakeholders under the aegis of CP-PDP Conference of Professionals in the Peoples Democratic Party (CP-PDP) said Nigerians would never reward the hardship allegedly inflicted on the country by the APC with a re-election.
The group, in a statement by its national coordinator, Obinna Nwachukwu, said no amount of coercion will make the APC win the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), which he said is the stronghold of the opposition party.
The stakeholders, who were reacting to the statement by President Bola Tinubu that he agreed to the demand by the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, that he accepted to remove the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) from the Treasury Single Account (TSA) for partisan reason, said the APC does not stand a chance in the FCT.
“In any event, with a badly battered, worsened by bad governance, it is clear that the APC has no chance in the FCT and the 2027 general elections despite its rigging plots.
“That President Tinubu and his supporters are obsessed with FCT and the 2027 elections at this time shows that the administration is not focused on governance, leaving the nation drifting without direction with escalated insecurity, economic hardship and pervasive uncertainty in the polity since President Tinubu took office on May, 29, 2023.
“What is, however, certain is that Nigerians cannot be hoodwinked in any way to reward failure and purveying of hardship with their votes in the FCT and in the 2027 elections, “ it stated.
