Senatorial Candidate Sani Legbo Kutigi Sympathizes with Mokwa Flood Victims, Commends Humanitarian Contributors

In the aftermath of the devastating flood that swept through Mokwa and its surrounding communities, Senatorial Candidate for Niger South Senatorial District, Hon. Muhammad Sani Idris popularly known as Sani Legbo Kutigi, has extended heartfelt sympathies to the victims of mokwa flood incident, reaffirming his unwavering support and solidarity in these challenging times.

During his visit to several of the hardest-hit areas, Hon. Sani described the flooding as a heartbreaking tragedy that has inflicted immense suffering on innocent residents, displacing families and destroying homes, farmlands, and sources of livelihood.

He expressed deep concern about the magnitude of destruction and underscored the need for coordinated relief efforts to assist affected households and help restore normalcy. He also emphasized the urgency of investing in preventive infrastructure to reduce the risk of such disasters in the future.

Renowned for his deep rooted commitment to community service and grassroots development, Hon. Sani took the opportunity to commend the efforts of government agencies, non-governmental organizations, emergency workers, and youth volunteers who responded swiftly to the crisis.
