NSCDC DEPLOYS 3,100 OPERATIVES FOR PEACEFUL EID-EL-KABIR CELEBRATIONS IN KANO                                                                                                                      05-06-25

By Sadiq Aminu                                                       The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Kano State Command has concluded all security arrangements for the Eid-el Kabir celebrations in Kano.

The command public relations officer SC Ibrahim Abdullahi disclosed this in a statement madam available to journalist in Kano.

It said the command has deployed over 3,100 operatives to ensure watertight security during the festivities.

The operatives will cover Eid praying grounds, recreational/event centers, markets, and other critical infrastructure to protect lives and property. The NSCDC has given special security consideration to securing public utilities and protecting citizens.

The command has warned miscreants to desist from all forms of criminal acts during and after the festive period. The NSCDC is prepared to deal with recalcitrant behaviors in accordance with the law.

The statement further explained that the commandant urges citizens to give peace a chance for a hitch-free Eid-el Kabir celebration. The deployment of 3,100 operatives is a clear indication of the NSCDC’s commitment to ensuring the safety and security of all citizens during the festivities.
