GOVERNOR YUSUF CHARGES KANO PEOPLE TO EMBRACE PEACE AND GOOD GOVERNANCE                                                                                                            08-06-25

By Sadiq Aminu                                                     Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State has charged the general populace to embrace peace and be advocates of good governance.

The governor made this call while receiving the Emir of Kano, Malam Muhammad Sanusi II, who paid him Sallah homage at the Government House in Kano.

The governor, represented by his Deputy, Comrade Abdulsalam Gwarzo, appreciated the Emir’s gesture and advised the public to continue to preach peace, pray for peace, and shun all immoral acts.

Governor Yusuf urged the general populace to learn from the teachings of Eid-el-Kabir by extending good gestures to the needy.

He emphasized the importance of peace and good governance in the development of the state and urged the public to be law-abiding and promoters of peace.

The governor also prayed for the repose of the souls of athletes who died while returning from national festivals. He condoled with the families of the deceased and prayed that Allah would grant them eternal rest.

The Emir, accompanied by some traditional officials, paid a courtesy visit to the governor to felicitate with him during the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

The Emir of Kano, Malam Muhammad Sanusi II, advised the general populace to continue to be law-abiding and promoters of peace.

He charged the public to learn from the teachings of Eid-el-Kabir and extend good gestures to the needy.

Emir Muhammad Sanusi emphasized the importance of peace in the development of the state and urged the public to work together to promote peace and good governance.

He appreciated the governor’s efforts in promoting peace and development in the state.
