PDP REJECTS MOVES TO MANIPULATE ZAMFARA BYE-ELECTION…………

By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has warned against alleged attempts by the All Progressives Congress (APC) to manipulate Thursday’s rerun election in Kaura Namoda South Constituency, Zamfara State.

PDP National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, accused the APC of using security agencies to intimidate voters and INEC officials, describing the move as a dangerous militarization of the electoral process.

He stressed that Zamfara people had already spoken through their votes and vowed that the party would not accept any result that contradicts the people’s will. Ologunagba also alleged that a serving minister from the state was backing the plot, warning that such actions threaten peace and stability.

The PDP called on President Bola Tinubu to intervene and urged INEC to ensure that the outcome of the rerun reflects the true choice of the people.
