NAF PROVIDES FREE MEDICAL CARE TO OVER 11,000 IN IMO ………..

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF), in partnership with Nwagwu’s Health Initiative, has offered free medical services to more than 11,000 residents of Mbaise and nearby communities in Imo State.

The outreach, which ran through August 2025, included consultations, life-saving surgeries, distribution of eyeglasses, walking aids, and health education sessions.

Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Bala Abubakar, said the programme reflects NAF’s commitment to supporting communities beyond its core duty of defending Nigeria’s airspace.

The initiative strengthens Civil-Military Relations while bringing hope, healing, and closer ties between the Force and the people.
