BAMIDELE SALAM SHINES AS ONE OF NIGERIA’S TOP 20 LAWMAKERS…………

Hon. Bamidele Salam, who represents Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore, and Ejigbo Federal Constituency of Osun State, has been ranked among the top 20 most productive lawmakers in Nigeria’s House of Representatives.
The recognition came from the Legislative Productivity Index released by ERGAF-AFRICA, a governance think tank, covering the first session of the 10th National Assembly (June 2023–June 2024). Salam also emerged as the best-performing lawmaker from Osun State.
As Chairman of the House Committee on Public Accounts, he has led impactful oversight, with his committee ranked among the most effective in the House. His work has earned national commendations, including applause from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and leaders of both chambers during the 2025 Democracy Day joint sitting.
Reacting to the honor, Salam thanked his constituents and pledged to push forward on legislation that supports infrastructure, education, youth empowerment, and economic growth.
