NOA COMMENDS EFCC FOR CYBERCRIME CRACKDOWN………

By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban

The National Orientation Agency (NOA) has praised the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for dismantling a major cybercrime syndicate.

NOA’s Director General, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, said the operation shows Nigeria’s firm stand against criminality, regardless of who is involved. He stressed that Nigeria must protect its image, uphold values, and ensure laws are respected.

He urged citizens, community leaders, schools, civil society, and the media to promote integrity and patriotism, while warning cybercriminals that Nigeria will never serve as a safe haven for crime.

Issa-Onilu added that EFCC’s action proves that law enforcement is vigilant, equipped, and ready to bring offenders to justice.
