President Bola Tinubu has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of former Inspector-General of Police, Solomon Ehigiator Arase.

He described Arase as a reform-driven officer whose leadership and innovations left lasting impacts on the Nigeria Police Force and national security.

From his years of service as IGP to his role as Chairman of the Police Service Commission, Tinubu said Arase remained committed to strengthening law enforcement and public safety.

The President prayed for the peaceful repose of his soul and comfort for his family, friends, and colleagues.
