ADC ACCUSES GOV’T OF MANIPULATING INFRASTRUCTURE REPORT

By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has accused the Tinubu administration of twisting infrastructure data to cover up nepotism and regional bias.

In a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, the ADC said the government’s new report, “Infrastructure Equity for Every Region. Progress for Every Nigerian,” was propaganda meant to mislead the public.

According to the party, projects were wrongly assigned to regions, some counted twice, and others recycled from the Buhari era but presented as new. The ADC said this exposes “manipulated evidence” and widens divisions instead of promoting unity.

The party also faulted the lack of transparency on major projects like the Badagry–Sokoto Highway.
