KEBBI GOV’T CAUTIONS OPPOSITION OVER “DIABOLICAL CAMPAIGNS”

By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban

The Kebbi State Government has warned opposition parties against what it described as “diabolical campaigns” aimed at tarnishing the image of Governor Nasir Idris and his administration.

Commissioner for Information, Yakubu Ahmed Birnin Kebbi, said the government is disappointed by recent attempts to mislead the public with false narratives. He stressed that while criticism is welcome in a democracy, it must be done with fairness and not blackmail.

He dismissed viral claims of poor healthcare delivery, insisting the governor remains committed to fulfilling his promises, citing ongoing infrastructural development since 2023.

The commissioner assured that efforts to discredit the administration will not derail its focus on taking Kebbi State to greater heights.
