On Nigeria’s 65th Independence anniversary, Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf urged Nigerians to embrace unity, peace, and professionalism for national progress.
Speaking at the Kano parade, he condemned the absence of the state’s Commissioner of Police and his personnel, describing it as partisan, unethical, and a disservice to the people.
He vowed to petition federal authorities and called on President Bola Tinubu to act swiftly.
Governor Yusuf praised other security agencies for their commitment and assured them of continued government support.
