By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has urged members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to stay united and hopeful despite recent defections, describing them as a temporary setback.

Speaking in Abuja during the inauguration of the PDP National Convention Transportation Subcommittee, Makinde expressed confidence that the party would emerge stronger and better prepared for future elections.

He called on members to remain committed and trust the leadership that will emerge from the upcoming convention, assuring that it will restore the party’s strength and Nigeria’s hope.
