GOV MUTFWANG COMMENDS US-BASED MEDICAL MISSION, SEEKS STRONGER HEALTH PARTNERSHIPS

Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State says over ₦1 billion has been spent to support individuals with serious health challenges across the state.

He made this known while receiving a delegation from Sharing Hope Medical Mission based in the United States at the Government House, Rayfield, Jos.

The governor commended the team for their humanitarian efforts and called for more collaboration to improve healthcare and infrastructure. He also disclosed plans to establish a medical faculty at Plateau State University.

Leader of the mission, Dr. Emeka Anyanwu, said the group has carried out 363 surgeries in its sixth mission and will cover JUTH, Sunnah, and Vom Christian Hospital.

Governor Mutfwang also hosted officials of CRUDAN, commending their commitment to peace and development, especially in agriculture. He assured them of government support to strengthen their impact.
