PDP ZAMFARA HAILS GOV. DAUDA LAWAL FOR REINSTATING 103 TEACHERS

By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban

The Zamfara State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has praised Governor Dauda Lawal for reinstating 103 teachers earlier dismissed due to administrative errors discovered during a civil service verification exercise.

In a statement by the party’s Publicity Secretary, Halliru Andi, the PDP described the Governor’s action, announced by the Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Mallam Wadatau Madawaki as a show of compassion, fairness, and dedication to workers’ welfare and education reform.

The Governor also approved the payment of the teachers’ outstanding salaries from January to July 2025.

The PDP said the move reflects Lawal’s people-centered leadership and commitment to justice and accountability. It urged the reinstated teachers to repay the trust by working diligently to support the administration’s transformation agenda.

Under the leadership of Dr. Jamilu Jibo Magayaki, the PDP reaffirmed its support for the Governor’s efforts to reposition Zamfara for peace, progress, and prosperity.
