ALLEGATIONS OF VOTE BUYING MAR ANAMBRA ELECTION – APC CANDIDATE SPEAKS

Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, APC governorship candidate in the just-concluded 2025 Anambra election, has alleged widespread vote buying. Speaking to journalists in Awka, he praised his party supporters for their dedication and commitment throughout the election.

He denied any involvement by the APC in vote buying, noting that the election results did not reflect such actions. Ukachukwu said he will release a detailed statement after reviewing data from polling units across the state and will consult party leaders before deciding on the next steps.

He also claimed that the home of one of his supporters in Anambra East LGA was set on fire by hoodlums.
