A LIFE WELL SPENT: SPEAKER ABBAS HONOURS SHEIKH DAHIRU BAUCHI

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr. Abbas Tajudeen, has mourned the passing of renowned Islamic scholar and Tijjaniya leader, Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi, describing his death as a great loss to the nation.
He said Sheikh Dahiru lived “a life well spent,” dedicating himself to Islamic teaching, peace, unity, and guiding the Ummah. Dr. Abbas recalled his lifelong commitment to promoting moderation, tolerance, and moral upbringing, noting that his influence was felt across the Islamic world.
He praised the late scholar as a symbol of integrity, wisdom, and service to humanity, a man who brought people together and inspired countless followers.
Dr. Abbas prayed that Allah grant Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi mercy and a noble place in Jannatul Firdaus.
