NASARAWA POLICE BAN FIREWORKS, KNOCKOUTS ACROSS STATE

By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban

The Nasarawa State Police Command has reaffirmed that the use, sale, and distribution of fireworks and knockouts are strictly banned. The move aims to prevent panic and stop criminals from exploiting explosive sounds for illegal activities.

Commissioner of Police Shetima Jauro Mohammed has ordered intensified patrols to enforce the ban. The command warns that violators will face the law and urges parents, shop owners, and the public to ensure full compliance and report any suspicious activity.
