OTTI PROMISES SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT FOR ABIA

By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban

Abia State Governor Alex Otti says his administration remains committed to delivering sustainable development despite challenges inherited from previous governments. Speaking at his December media parley, he highlighted progress in health, education, transport, power, and security.

Governor Otti noted ongoing renovations and Smart School projects, the rollout of free electric bus services with plans to expand to 100 buses by 2026, and the restoration of electricity to 33 communities. He also expressed satisfaction with efforts to revive key industries, including Star Paper Mills in Aba and Afro Beverages in Owerrinta.

The governor assured residents that his government will continue to prioritize peace, infrastructure, environmental sustainability, and economic growth across Abia State.
