KEBBI SETS UP COMMITTEE TO SUPPORT DISPLACED PERSONS IN YAURI AXIS

The Kebbi State Government has set up a special committee to provide immediate relief to residents displaced by insecurity in Yauri, Shanga, Ngaski and Koko Besse Local Government Areas. The decision, announced in a statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Yakubu Bala Tafida, is aimed at easing humanitarian challenges caused by recent security threats.

The committee has been directed to begin work without delay by moving to the affected areas and ensuring continuous delivery of relief materials until normalcy is restored. The intervention brings together relevant government bodies, emergency agencies, local councils and security institutions to coordinate support for the victims.
