ZAMFARA APC, SSG’S OFFICE CLASH OVER DEFECTION CLAIMS

The Zamfara State chapter of the APC and the Office of the Secretary to the State Government have exchanged sharp statements over claims that Bello Nakwada, younger brother of the SSG, defected from the PDP to the APC.

While the APC insists Bello Nakwada has left the PDP and aligned with the opposition, distancing himself from the state government, the SSG’s office has dismissed the claim as political propaganda aimed at gaining relevance. The government said the APC exaggerated the issue by linking it to the SSG and stressed that political choices are personal and not determined by family ties.

The SSG’s office maintained that Malam Abubakar Muhammad Nakwada remains committed to supporting Governor Dauda Lawal’s administration and will not be distracted by opposition narratives.
