NCPC SUSPENDS ISRAEL, JORDAN PILGRIMAGES AFTER 2025 EXERCISE

By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban

The Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission has suspended pilgrimages to Israel and Jordan over rising security concerns in the Middle East.

Executive Secretary Stephen Adegbite announced the decision after confirming the successful completion of the 2025 pilgrimage, with the final batch of pilgrims returning safely to Nigeria.

He said the suspension follows recent escalations in the region and assured that the safety of Nigerian pilgrims remains the Commission’s top priority until the situation stabilises.
