BANDITS KILL ONE, ABDUCT FIVE IN SOKOTO ATTACK

Bandits have killed one person and abducted five others during a night attack on Mallamawar Yari village in Kware Local Government Area of Sokoto State.
Police spokesperson, ASP Ahmed Rufa’i, said the victims include three women and two men who were taken to an unknown location.
He added that residents are assisting security agencies with information to help track down the attackers as tension rises in the affected communities.
