POLICE INTENSIFY MANHUNT OVER WOMAN ABDUCTION IN OYO

By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban

The Oyo State Police Command has stepped up efforts to rescue Mrs. Adetutu Aderibigbe, who was abducted by armed men outside her home in Ibadan.

According to police, the attackers trailed the victim to her residence in the Bolumole area of Challenge before striking at her gate and whisking her away in an unregistered black Lexus vehicle. A family member present during the incident was left unharmed.

Authorities say detectives were immediately deployed after the report, with the scene already examined and key evidence recovered to aid the investigation. Surveillance and intelligence operations have also been intensified as police track the suspects.

The command assured residents that all necessary measures are being taken to secure the victim’s safe return and bring those responsible to justice, while urging the public to remain calm and provide any useful information.
