LAGOS POLICE INTERCEPT CAMOUFLAGE, ARREST 49 FOREIGN NATIONALS

The Lagos State Police Command has recorded major security breakthroughs, including the interception of a large consignment of military camouflage materials and the arrest of 49 foreign nationals during separate operations across the state.
Commissioner of Police, Fatai Tijani, said four suspects were arrested in connection with the camouflage seizure, while investigations are ongoing to determine the source and intended destination of the materials.
He also disclosed that the command arrested 49 foreign nationals during a raid on Lagos Island and recovered firearms in another operation linked to suspected criminal activities.
The police further revealed progress in investigations into a suspected “one-chance” robbery syndicate, assuring residents of continued efforts to strengthen security across the state.
