NRM INAUGURATES 2027 PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN COUNCIL

The National Rescue Movement (NRM) has inaugurated its Presidential Campaign Council ahead of the 2027 general election and unveiled its “Esther Rescue Nigeria Agenda” as its policy framework.
Inaugurating the council, the National Chairman of the party, Prince Chinedu Obi, described the agenda as a roadmap for addressing the challenges facing the country.
The party said its campaign council would coordinate its mobilisation and engagements with Nigerians ahead of the presidential election.
Presenting the agenda, Obi said the NRM would focus on the economy, security, education, healthcare, infrastructure and governance. He said the party would pursue measures aimed at strengthening the naira, supporting local production, creating jobs and attracting investment.
The NRM also said it would prioritise access to quality education, technical and vocational training, improved healthcare services and reforms to strengthen the country’s security architecture.
The party’s presidential candidate, Esther Nkem Okereke, said the NRM would run an inclusive government if elected in 2027.
The Director-General of the campaign council, Alhaji Sani Garba, urged Nigerian youths to join the party and support its programme for the country.
Obi charged members of the campaign council to work together and take the party’s policies and message to Nigerians across the country.
