The presidential candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), Seyi Makinde, has appointed former Minister of State for Aviation, Felix Hassan Hyat, as Director-General of the National Campaign Management Committee of the Makinde/Daura Presidential Campaign Organisation.
The appointment was announced in a statement issued by Makinde’s Special Adviser on Media and Digital Communication, Anthony Ehilebo.
Hyat, a former Kaduna State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, is expected to coordinate the campaign’s national management structure and promote the APM’s “Reset Nigeria” message ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
Makinde also appointed former Minister of Women Affairs, Hajia Inna Ciroma, as Deputy Director-General, Administration, while Dr Anthony Aziegbemi was named Deputy Director-General, Operations.
The campaign organisation said the appointments bring together experience in political strategy, administration and mobilisation as it prepares for the 2027 election.
Other members of the campaign team were appointed to oversee areas including mobilisation, communications, finance, security, youth and women coordination, as well as organisation and strategy.
The campaign said further appointments would be announced in due course.
