BAUCHI STATE GOVERNMENT DENIES DISSOLUTION OF SCHOLARSHIP BOARD                                                                             17-10-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                               The Bauchi State Government has strongly refuted rumors circulating on social media suggesting the dissolution of the Bauchi State Scholarship Board.

According to a press release issued by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the state Governor, comrade Mukhtar Gidado, government clarified that the claims were false and misleading.

The statement described the report which allegedly cited economic hardship and a lack of federal allocation as reasons for the board’s dissolution entirely baseless.

The state government reassured the public that it remains committed to its educational priorities, including the provision of scholarships to deserving students across the state.

Comrade Gidado in the statement emphasized that Governor Bala Mohammed’s administration continues to prioritize education despite the financial challenges faced by the nation.

The government urged students, parents, and the general public to disregard the false reports and warned against the spread of misinformation.

The public are therefore advised to rely solely on verified information from recognized government channels.
