PRESIDENT TINUBU HAS EXPRESSED CONFIDENCE THAT NIGERIA IS READY FOR INVESTMENT: SAYS, INFORMATION MINISTER                                                                                                  22-09-23

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                President Bola Ahmed Tinubu says Nigeria is ready to expand its horizon and open up the Nigerian economy for private sector investment.

The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Muhammed Idris Malagi who is also attending the 78th United Nations General Assembly in Newyork stated this while on an interview with the Nigeria Television Authority.

The Minister while answering questions on the steps taken by the President explained that, Mr. President even before coming for the global event, was in India; for the G20 summit, had a stopover in the United Arab Emirates with the same massage that Nigeria is open for business.

The president at the G20 Summit got commitment from ExxonMobil upstream of 40,000 additional barrels of oil per day as a new push for further investment in the country.

The President also had engagements with world leaders including African leaders, the business community and people in the ICT community.

The Minister of Information and National orientation, Dr Muhammed Idris Malagi also said the President’s outing has so far given the world confidence that Nigeria is now ready to take it’s rightfull place in the commity of nations.
