Amidst funfair and various traditional and cultural display by different cultural groups, the rejuvenation and ecstasy can best be described as a swearing ceremony beyond flag off, Earlier, In his well come address, the chief host of the occasion who is the incumbent governor, Alhaji YAHAYA ADOZA BELLO appreciates the support of the president and vice president for finding the time to grace the occasion and promise that his successor if elected will maintain and improve on the trajectory of his administration, he recalled that his new direction agenda is henched on equall and even distribution of resources across the state tagged Kogi agenda for kogites. In his acceptance speech Alhaji ODODO AHMED USMAN who spoke to the admiration and enchantment of the crowd was categorical that “Kogi State is APC and APC is Kogi State” specifically thank his Boss and mentor for finding him fit and worthy for the office and equally thank The president and people of Kogi state with the assurance that he will not disappoint them, “I assure that you have a son in me that is Worthy of trust and loyal” and that he will consolidate and sustain the legacy projects of governor YAHAYA BELLO in Kogi State especially in the areas of security of lives and properties, education, health, physical and infrastructural development, human capital development, empowerment for youth and women inclusion in governance.
The vice president of the federal republic of Nigeria flags off the official campaign ceremony of the Kogi State gubernatorial candidate whose election is scheduled to take place November 11 2023 , at the MUHAMMADU BUHARI SQUARE, Lokoja.
The national chairman of the party thanks kogites for their unflinching loyalty to the great party and assures that Kogi State governor will not fail in delivering on his mandate. The occasion which was attended by the creme de la creme of the rulling party includes the Vice president Kashim Shetima who represented the president BOLA AHMED TINUBU, the national chairman of the party APC Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the national secretary of APC, the governor of Kwara state Abdullfatah Ahmed, the governor of Ogun state Dapo Abiodun who also doubles as the director general of the national campaign council.
