SHETTIMA, GBAJABIAMILA ON WAR PATH OVER HIDDEN RUSSIAN INVITATION LETTER

By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban.           08036377731

The first letter of invitation sent by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to Bola Tinubu, seeking his approval for Kashim Shettima to attend the just concluded Russian-African Summit, was hidden by Tinubu’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila.
When the Russian didn’t receive a confirmation of the first letter, they inquired and found out Shettima did not receive the first letter. They now sent a second letter directly to him.
Shettima is currently livid at the way and manner Gbajabiamila has undermined his office and rendered him almost ineffective since May 29 when they resumed.
