KIDNAPPED BENUE STATE COMMISSIONER FOR INFORMATION, CULTURE AND TOURISM-MATHEW ABO RELEASED                                                                                                         04-10-23

By Sadiq Aminu                                                         The Benue State Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Mr Mathew Abo, who was abducted at his residence in Zaki-Biam in Ukum Local Government Area has regained freedom.
A source told our correspondent that Mr Abo was set free in the early hours of today (5/10/23) and has already reunited with his family in good health.

It could however not state if the sixty million naira demanded as ransom was paid or not.

Mr Abo spent ten days in captivity before freedom came his way.
At the time of the report, the Benue State Police Command was yet to speak on the matter.
