NSCDC ARRESTS SUSPECTED NOTORIOUS MOTORCYCLE SNATCHER IN NASSARAWA STATE                                                                                                 26-11-23

By Sadiq Aminu                                                        The Nasarawa State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC has arrested a suspected notorious motorcycle snatcher popularly known as Abacha Jibrin.

Abacha Jibrin who specialises in snatching motorcycles in and around Lafia, the state capital was arrested after killing his victim.

Parading the suspect before newsmen, command Public Relations Officer Deputy Superintendent of Corps, Jerry Victor stated that upon interrogation,the suspect confessed to the commission of the crime and agreed to take personnel of the corps to where he killed and dumped the remains of the victim.

DSP Victor said the remains of the victim has been deposited in the morgue while the suspect will face the full wrath of the law pending the conclusion of investigation.

Narrating how he kills his victims, the suspect who spoke in Hausa revealed that he usually drug his victims before snatching their motorcycles.

According to the suspect, luck ran out of him when the last victim he drugged identified him and alerted personnel of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps which led to his arrest.
