PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS FOR NIMASA AND NPA                                                                                                             04-01-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                    The Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, NIMASA, and the Nigerian Ports Authority, NPA, get new Executive Directors.

The new appointees for NPA are Ms. Vivian Richard Edet, Executive Director, Finance and Administration, Mr. Olalekan Badmus, Executive Director, Marine and Operations, and Alhaji Ibrahim Abba Umar, Executive Director, Engineering and Technical Services.

In NIMASA, Mr. Jibril Abba will serve as Executive Director, Maritime Labour and Cabotage Services, Mr. Chudi Offodile, Executive Director, Finance and Administration, Mr. Jibril Abba, Executive Director, Maritime Labour and Cabotage Services, and Mr. Chudi Offodile, Executive Director, Finance and Administration, and Fatai Taye Adeyemi, Executive Director, Operations.

Approving to the appointments, President Bola Tinubu urged them to create the conditions required to significantly raise the contribution of the Marine & Blue Economy sector to the nation’s GDP.
