COLLATION AND UPLOADING OF AKOKO NORTHEAST/NORTHWEST BY-ELECTION RESULTS IN PROCESS 03-02-24
By Sadiq Aminu The results of the Akoko NorthEast/NorthWest Federal Constituency By-election results are being collated and uploaded on the INEC Result Viewing portal, IREV.
The election ended at three o’clock in the afternoon and was supervised by INEC National Commissioner, supervising Ondo, Osun and Ogun states, Prof Kunle Ajayi and the Ondo Resident Electoral Commissioner, REC, Mrs Oluwatoyin Babalola.
Prof Ajayi lauded the turnout of electorates for the election .
He said that the general observations was that the election smooth and peaceful.
On the ballot box snatched at Oyinmo Ward 13, Unit 5, Ikare-Akoko by some miscreants, the national commissioner disclosed that the incident was being investigated and necessary action taken.
