APC/NNPP CANDIDATES WIN RERUN ELECTION IN NASARAWA STATE                                                                    03-02-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                      The Independent National Electoral commission INEC has declared Mohammad Adamu Omadefu of the All Progressives Congress APC as the winner of Keana state house of Assembly election in Nasarawa state..

Similarly, Musa Ibrahim of the New Nigeria People’s Party NNPP has also been declared winner of Doma south state constituency election..

The declaration was made after rerun elections in 5 polling units of Agaza ward in Keana state constituency and One polling unit in Rukubi ward of Doma south constituency of the state .

The two winners of the rerun elections would now return to the state House of Assembly after judgement of the Appeal Court ordered for another election in some polling units in the state.

The rerun election was conducted smoothly without any breach of peace and orderliness in all of the six polling units..

Ten political parties participated in the rerun election in Nasarawa state.
