FORMER HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES MEMBERS HONOR LATE GHALI NA’ABBA AT VALEDICTORY SESSION                                                                               22-02-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                       Chief of Staff to the President, Mr. Femi Gbajabiamela, Former Speaker Aminu Masari, Former Deputy Speakers, Usman Nafada, Emeka Ihedioha, Yusuf Lasu among other House of Representatives former presiding officers storm the National Assembly for a valedictory session for late Speaker of House of Representatives Alhaji Ghali Umar Na’Abba.
In a welcome address by the Speaker of House of Representatives Dr Tajudeen Abbas, said the tenure of late Ghali Na’Abba witnessed robust parliamentary activities which strengthened the nation’s democratic system.
Dr. Tajudeen, described the late Speaker as courageous legislator who make sure due process, transparency and accountability is ensure in governance process.
The speaker said the nation should honor the memory of the late Speaker by adhering to the values and legacies he represent.
Alhaji Ghali Na’Abba a foremost statesman who was passionate and courageous public servant who spent his life in service to the country was the speaker from 1999 to 2003
The Kano Born Politician, Ghali Na’Abba, has been described as one among a special breed of Nigerian lawmakers who is courageous to always speak truth to the power.
Alhaji Ghali Na’Abba died at age of 65,
