NDE TRAINS 40 WOMEN IN CONFECTIONARY, TIE, DYE IN KANO STATE 05-03-24
By Sadiq Aminu The National Directorate of Employment has reaffirmed it’s commitment in providing skills acquisition training to unemployed women and youths,with the aim of addressing the challenge of unemployment accross the country.
The Director General of the Agency Malam Abubakar Nuhu Fikpo disclosed this during the orientation and flag off ceremony of Tie and Dye/confectionery and SYOB skills acquisition training held in Kano.
Represented by the state coordinator of NDE in Kano Alhaji Danjuma Shehu said the five days skill acquisition training will acquaint women and youth in the making of confectionery/ Tie and Dye, stressing that the trade was trending amongst women and youth across the 44 local government areas of the state.
Alhaji Danjuma Shehu noted that 40 participants were partaking on the start up of the five days training, noting that It comprises of Tie and Dye /confectionery and start up your own business training.
The coordinator maintained that each beneficiary will be awarded the loan of twenty thousand Naira to start the business after completing the training .
“The disbursement of the loan would be conducted after the training has been completed ”
Shema’u zubairu and Maryam Tijjani were among the participants of the training, they applauded the foresight of president Bola Ahmad Tinubu for providing the training and support for the unemployed persons adding that they will make adequate utilization of the opportunity.
