MOON SIGHTING: SULTAN OF SOKOTO CALLS ON MUSLIMS TO LOOK OUT FOR NEW CRESCENT OF RAMADAN 1445 AH 09-03-24
By Sadiq Aminu The Sultan of Sokoto Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar has called on the Muslims in the country to start looking for the new crescent of RAMADAN 1445 AH, tomorrow Sunday the 10th of March 2024 equivalent to Islamic Calendar 29th of Sha aban 1445 AH.
In a statement signed by the chairman advisory Committee on Religious Affairs Sultanate Council Sokoto, prof. Sambo Wali Junaidu says if sighted, the information should be forwarded to the nearest district or village head for onward communication to the Sultan
The following telephone numbers can be used to report the Sighting of the new moon to the Sultanate palace for onward communication to the Sultan.
