ONDO STATE GOVERNOR AYEDATIWA PICKS NOMINATION, EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FORMS                                                                                                  04-04-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                      Ondo state governor , Mr Lucky Aiyedatiwa says his determination to contest the 2024 Ondo state governorship election is in response to the call of the people to further provide dividends of democracy to the people of the state.

The governor stated this when he submitted his nomination and expression of interest forms at the APC national secretariat Abuja.

Governor Aiyedatiwa who was accompanied by hundreds of supporters, party members and students groups promised not to disappoint the people.

Governor Aiyedatiwa while fielding questions from Journalists insisted that among the other fifteen aspirants jostling for the APC ticket he was the most qualified and had nothing to fear in the upcoming primary election.

The governor disclosed that his one hundred days in office had witnessed several developmental projects including construction of rural farm roads, recruitment of primary schools teachers, regular payment of workers salary among others.

Notable among the dignitaries who accompanied the governor to the APC national secretariat included his deputy , Dr Olayide Adelami, Senator Ajayi Borofice, Ambassador Sola Iji, Attorney general and the commissioner for justice in Ondo state Mr Kayode Ajulọ among others.

The Ondo APC primary election is slated for April 20th.
