SULTAN OF SOKOTO CALLS ON MUSLIMS TO START LOOKING FOR THE NEW CRESCENT OF SHAWWAL 1445 AH 08-04-24
By Sadiq Aminu The Sultan of Sokoto Muhammad Saad Abubakar has called on the Muslims in the country to start looking for the new crescent of SHAWWAL 1445 AH, tomorrow Monday the 8th of April the 2024 equivalent to Islamic Calendar 29th of Ramadan 1445 AH.
In a statement signed by the chairman advisory Committee on Religious Affairs Sultanate Council Sokoto, prof. Sambo Wali Junaidu says if sighted, the information should be forwarded to the nearest district or village head for onward communication to the Sultan
