By Sadiq Aminu                                                                 The director General of the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps, Dr. Yusuf Buba Yakub, has called on employers of labour and leaders across the country to use the occasion of the International Labour Day to demonstrate love for Nigerian workers as a special appreciation for their continuous efforts and commitment to nation building.

A statement by the Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the DG Nkem Anyata-Lafia says the entire world should appreciate the central role workers play in harnessing their productive capacities.

It says workers day celebration offers the rare opportunity to bring to the front burner issues concerning workers, their welfare and their general well-being.

It urges employers to find a special way to appreciate workers in more tangible ways than mere words.
