NIGER STATE GOVERNMENT APPROVES N 25B FOR PAYMENT OF PENSION AND GRATUITY OWED RETIREES IN THE STATE                                                                                                29-05-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                  The Niger State Government has approved Twenty Five billion naira for the payment of Pension and Gratuity owed Retirees in the State.

The Governor also approved the elevation of all Civil Servants due for promotion with immediate effect.

Governor Mohammed Umar Bago announced this as part of his one year anniversary in office.

Speaking on other measures to improve productivity, Governor Bago also approved the reconstruction of the State Secretariat and Construction of a new Judicial complex.

The Governor who thanked civil Servants in the State for their support promised to enhance their welfare and fulfill all obligation to Retirees.
