EMIRATE TUSSEL: POLICE WARNS AGAINST VIOLENCE AHEAD OF COURT RULING                                                                                  20-06-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                  The Kano State Police Command has urged the public to remain peaceful and patriotic as the Federal High Court presides over sensitive matters related to the emirates.

In a press release signed by SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, Police Public Relations Officer, the command warned against any attempt to cause violence, stating that the lives of all individuals are sacred and a priority for protection.

The police command reiterated its commitment to preventing and detecting crime, and warned miscreants and the public that:- The ban on public protests, processions, and unlawful gatherings remains in place, and violators will be sanctioned according to the law.

– Adequate security personnel will be deployed to enforce law and order, and residents are urged to cooperate and provide actionable information.

– Non-state actors, including vigilantes and hunters, are not permitted to participate in providing security under any guise.
