GAYA LGA DISTRIBUTES FEDERAL GOVERNMENT’S PALLIATIVE TO 10 WARDS                                                                      20-06-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                  Gaya Local Government interim Chairman Alhaji Abubakar Jazuli Usman Gaya, has distributed food items to ten wards as part of the federal government’s palliative.

Represented by the vice chairman Alhaji Mudi Hassan Gaya, emphasized the importance of reaching out to those in need during challenging times.

He stressed that the local government was committed to ensuring that all residents receive the necessary support to reduce hardship.

Alhaji Abubakar expressed gratitude to the federal government for providing the palliatives and pledged to continue working tirelessly to support the community.

Representative of Kano state Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) Malam Anas Muktar Gaya pointed out that the distribution process was carried out in a transparent and orderly manner with priority given to the vulnerable and less privileged.

The Chairman Community Reorientation Committee C.R.C Gaya, Comrade Muhammad Salisu Kademi reiterated the present administration’s dedication to providing the necessary intervention to cushion the effect of subsidy removal.

Those who benefitted from the federal government’s intervention include PWDs religious groups, political Party leaders, Hisba, and Security agencies, among others.

They expressed their appreciation for the food items distributed by the federal government and thanked Hon Abubakar Jazuli Usman Gaya for his leadership and commitment to their welfare.

Items distributed include Millet Maize and Guinecorn.
