PRESIDENT TINUBU ATTENDS PRAYER SESSION IN HONOR OF LATE MOTHER                                                                             19-06-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                President Bola Tinubu has attended a special anniversary prayer session in honor of his late mother, Alhaja Abibatu Mogaji, and Inauguration of Construction of 330 Boreholes Nationwide in her honor.

The session held at Area one Friday mosque Abuja, included recitation of the Holy Qur’an as well as special prayers for the President’s mother, by selected Islamic clerics.

The Executive Secretary of the Commission for Almajiri and out of school children Dr Muhammad Sani Idris, who coordinated the session, paid glowing tributes to the life and achievements of late Alhaja Abibatu Mogaji.

The Governor of Katsina State Dr Dikko Radda, shed more light on the 330 Boreholes project Nationwide.

In his sermon before the two raka’ats Juma’at prayer, the Chief Imam of the mosque Sheikh Sani Abubakar, urged leaders at all levels to discharge their responsibilities with the fear of God.

He also enjoined civil servants in the country to uphold the rules of the service, because everybody would account for his deeds on the day of judgement.

Those who attended the session included state governors, Ministers and politicians amongst others.
