HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES TO HOLD STAKEHOLDERS MEETING ON NATIONAL DIGITAL ECONOMY                                                                                                                      07-07-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                              The house of Representatives Committee on Digital and Information Communication Technology is to hold a stakeholders meeting on the process of developing a national digital economy.

The stakeholders meeting which will involve the media is on a National Digital Economy & e-Governance which Bill currently before the National Assembly.

The engagement is in collaboration with the Senate Committee on ICT & Cybercrimes, led by Senator Shuaib Afolabi Salisu.
The Chairman, House Committee on Digital and Information Communication Technology Adedeji Olajide said the engagement is in line with the commitment of the National Assembly to an inclusive process in lawmaking.
He said this stakeholders meeting would be the first of a series of engagements by the leadership of the Senate Committee on ICT & Cybercrimes and the House Committee on Digital and Information Communication Technology in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Communication, Information and Digital Economy.
