PIONEER NATIONAL CHAIRMAN OF APGA, DR CHEKWAS OKORIE EMERGES CHAIRMAN OF THE PARTY’S BOARD OF TRUSTEES 23-07-24
By Sadiq Aminu Dr. Okorie’s emergence followed a resolution of the national leadership of the party at a meeting in Owerri, Imo state under the national chairman, Chief Edozie Njoku.
Addressing newsmen in Abuja on the development, Dr. Okorie, who midwifed the founding of APGA twenty years ago accepted the appointment and pledged to work closely with the national working committee to reposition the party.
APGA which had been locked in a protracted leadership tussle recently got some reprieve when the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC recognised the national working committee led by Chief Edozie Njoku following a court judgement .
