CONCERNED NIGERLITES ORGANISATION IN NIGER HAS DISTANCES ITSELF FROM THE PLANNED NATIONWIDE PROTEST 28-07-24
By Sadiq Aminu A Civil Society Organisation in Niger state, the Concerned Nigerlites Organisation has vowed not to participate in the planned nationwide protest slated for the first of next month.
The Convener Dr Abubakar Abdullahi Kuso who stated this while addressing Newsmen in Minna, however maintained that embarking on protest is nọt the solution to our socio political and economic problems.
Dr Abubakar Kuso explained that the National protest will nọt only add to more of the hardship being experienced by Nigerians but brings about misery and uncertainty among innocent poor citizens as banks, hospitals, markets, motorparks, and other critical areas will remain closed and only the poor will bear the brunt.
According to him the National Protest could also be hijacked by miscrients that is capable of escalating the current problem of insecurity bedevilling the country.
Dr Abubakar Kuso who enumerated the numerous achievements recorded by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu led administration said what the President required at this time is support, prayers and time to fix the country, stressing that they strongly believed in his capacity to dọ that.
Also speaking the Director General Non Governmental Organisation in Niger state and founder Unity Group Comrade Zubairu Bala Kuta exenorated themselves from the planned nationwide protest insisting that the protest will only drag the country backward instead of moving forward.
Reprsentative of the Chairman National Youth Council of Nigeria NYCN Niger state chapter Abdullahi Wahab Adamu said youths in Niger state will not be part of the protest and advised Nigerian youths to shelve the planned nationwide protest in the interest of prace and development of Nigeria.
The Concerned Nigerlites Organisation is a Non Governmental Organisation with about seven hundred and fifry thousand membership spread across the country who are interested in rhe overall socio economic development of Nigeria devoid of ethnic religious and sectional differences.
