By Sadiq Aminu                                                                A Media Influencer, Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, VDM, has arrived the Venue of the ongoing investigation by the House Joint Committee on Financial Crimes and Reformatory Institutions to for investigative hearing into the Bribery allegation against Nigeria Correctional Service, NCS and Economic and financial crimes Commission and The House of Representatives committee.

The House on Thursday directed its committees on Financial Crimes and Reformatory Institutions to commence investigation into Bribery allegation against Nigeria Correctional Service, NCS and Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC by a Media Influencer, Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, VDM.
The House in an urgent motion of Public importance by a member representing Ikot Ekpene Essien Udim Obot Akara Federal Constituency of Akwa Ibom State, Patrick Umoh, described the allegation as ridiculous.
The House notes that an anti-craft agency such as EFCC and a reformative agency such as NCS should not be involved in a damning corruption allegations such as this, hence the need to investigate the allegations.
According to the green Chamber, the publication alleges that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, dropped money laundry charges against Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky upon collection of the sum of Fifteen Million Naira
VeryDarkMan, VDM, has released an audio clip where Idris Okuneye, (Bobrisky) purportedly claimed he bribed officials of the EFCC with N15 million and the Controller General of the Nigeria Correctional Service, Haliru Nababa to avoid spending his term in jail.
Adopting the motion, the House referred the matter to the House Committees Financial Crimes and Reformatory Institutions and report back within three legislative weeks.
